An Updated English Cottage

A real estate purchase led to styling and furnishing a 1947 Colonial home. The circular flow of the house reinforced the need for cohesion and continuity between the rooms. The goal was to create a fresh, relaxed look accompanied by plenty of comfort, character, and beauty.

The coordination of color and wood tones unified the space along with blending old and new decor. By bringing in well-loved antiques and vintage pieces I was able to inject character and personality throughout. There is something special about a room that stimulates fond family memories and tells a story.

This has become a lovely home where family and friends belong, memories are being created, and good times are enjoyed.
